GE Global Research Visited NIMTE

On May 27th, Leonard Gary from GE Global Research at Niskayuna NY and his fellows visited Fuel Cell and Energy Technology Division of NIMTE. Wei Guo Wang, Vice Director of NIMTE and Director of Fuel Cell and Energy Technology Division showed them around the laboratories and then hold a communication meeting. Leonard Gary introduced the history of GE and especially GE Global Research. China Technology Center (Shanghai) was established in 2002 and now has 60 research labs and 1150 technologists. GE is Imagination at Work - a diversified technology, media and financial services company focused on solving some of the world's toughest problems. Just as Jeffrey R. Immelt the Chief Executive Officer of GE and the Chairman of the Board said: The only source of profit, the only reason to invest in companies in the future, is their ability to innovate and their ability to differentiate. The Principal Engineer of GE Global Research Biederman Bruce made brief introduction of SOFC degradation program at GE Global Research. Wei Guo Wang gave a presentation of SOFC development at NIMTE. Both sides were exchanged views on questions of common interests.
