On September 17-21, 2008, the director of fuel cell and energy technology division Dr. Weiguo Wang attended the 2008 China-Japan-Korea SOFC Symposium at Korean Pohang for 4 days. Dr. Jianxin Wang with three graduate students, Youkun Tao, Huijuan Zhai and Jing Shao also attended the conference. On the conference, Dr. Weiguo Wang gave a meeting opening presentation about “Recent SOFC development at NIMTE”, and introduced a series of development of SOFC at NIMTE. Dr. Jianxin Wang gave a presentation about “Synthesis of LSM-YSZ composite cathode by citrate method”. The three graduate students also showed their research results by exhibition board. According to this conference, it makes people know more about our division at home and abroad, and enlarge the influence of our division in area of SOFC, and also enhance the contact and cooperation between our division and other scientific research institutes and companies in Asia.
